Timber River Station is a conveniently located arena and event centre between the town of Sundre and Olds.
Pridefully connecting our community 4H groups, sports teams, business and families through partnerships, friendly learning and competition.
Our year-round facility boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor space, available for local and out of town guests.
Enjoy access to our over-size riding arena, outdoor arena, the Little Red River, trails for walking, birdwatching and riding your horse. There is ample space for the set up of event tents, parking for guests and livestock rigs.

HORSE BOARDING
A year-round, full service Equestrian Boarding facility, just minutes East of the town of Sundre and 25 km West of Olds. Timber River boasts quality personal care for your horses from our on-site manager and staff, including access to professional services such as veterinary, farrier, body workers and on-site trainer.

Timber River Station is a venue that offers a variety of options for livestock events, family reunions, clinics, concerts, lessons and more. With over 100 acres of beautiful forest, green space, river access and our buildings, we can comfortably accommodate you and your members. Proudly serving our local 4H clubs, barrel racing jackpots, team roping, farrier competitions, bull sales, etc.

ON-SITE FARRIER: TOM HAAS
Tom is a highly skilled hoof care specialist with more than 25 years experience. His passion and understanding for horses and his job has expanded his expertise to support veterinarians extensively in therapeutic shoeing. We are excited for him to set up shop for the winter months at Timber River Station. Book with him directly to book a warm indoor, professional trim or shoe at our facility.

RIVERSIDE ACCOMODATION
A private, rustic cabin on stilts, with the Little Red River just steps away from the covered deck. Complete with wood burning fireplace, this quaint short term rental will be available Spring 2022.
ARENA CALENDAR
To better the traffic flow at Timber River Station, and to allow horse trailers to gain a little more momentum before climbing the hill to the Highway, we ask that you follow the following map and directions:
Please turn into Timber River Station at the first entrance (#33023). We would then appreciate trailers to be backed in at a 45 degree angle along the arena or the treeline.

When you exit, please exit the property by driving around the spruce tree windbreak.
​
*As winter weather has truly settled itself in, we will continue to keep a watchful eye on the hill down to our arena and maintain it for safe driving conditions to the best of our ability.
