A place for more than just riding
Timber River Station is a conveniently located arena and event centre between the town of Sundre and Olds.
Pridefully connecting our community 4H groups, sports teams, businesses and families through partnership, friendly learning and competition. Our year-round facility boasts beautiful indoor and outdoor space, available for local and out of town guests. Enjoy access to our indoor and outdoor riding arenas, the Little Red River, trails for walking, birdwatching and riding. There is ample space for event tents, parking for guests and livestock rigs.

ARENA/FACILITY RENTALS & SERVICES
Timber River Station is a venue that offers a variety of options for livestock events, family reunions, clinics, concerts, lessons and more. With over 100 acres of beautiful forest, green space, river access and our buildings, we can comfortably accommodate you and your members. Proudly serving our local 4H clubs, barrel racing jackpots, penning and cutting, farrier competitions, bull sales, etc.

RIDING LESSONS
Jolene Perdue as been offering english and western riding lessons at Timber River for a year now. Her students love her kind approach and patience, no matter the rider ability.
Jolene will help set you up for success with her experience and attention to detail. Please contact her directly to arrange your lessons!

RIVERSIDE ACCOMODATION
Available until Oct 31, 2022. A private, off-grid cabin for 2, with the Little Red River just steps away, and lovely walking trails across the river. Complete with wood burning fireplace and BBQ. Water, generator for electricity and outhouse provided. Minimum 2 night stay. $100/night. Click here for more pictures.
DIAMOND WILLOW VAULTING CLUB
Vaulting is described as gymnastics and dance on a horse. It develops balance, confidence, harmony and connection with the horse. It teaches basic horse care, working with others, discipline and dedication in a safe and fun environment. Brooke Boyd, a certified vaulting coach is our head coach. Diane Boyd is an assistant coach, lunger and takes an important role in helping train the horses. They both love the sport, and teaching kids.

Click on any of the events to read more details, and if the arena may be shared at the same time. You can view future months by clicking the arrow beside the month name at the top. Any dates or times that are not showing a booking, means the arena is available to drop in riders, lessons, or private rentals. *Drop In Riders are required to contact us and book ride times.*
To better the traffic flow at Timber River Station, and to allow horse trailers to gain a little more momentum before climbing the hill to the Highway, we ask that you follow the following map and directions:
Please turn into Timber River Station at the first entrance (#33023). We would then appreciate trailers to be backed in at a 45 degree angle along the arena or the treeline.
When you exit, please exit the property by driving around the spruce tree windbreak.
*As winter weather has truly settled itself in, we will continue to keep a watchful eye on the hill down to our arena and maintain it for safe driving conditions to the best of our ability.
